The Secretary’s report for April
was amended to show that Clay Bird turned in corrected amount.
The Treasurer’s report for April
was tabled.
The Financial Secretary turned in money
from memberships consisting of 6 renewals for 2010, 3 Spousal,
1 junior and 10 new members in April for a total of 20
members with the purchase of 4 indoor range cards. There
are a total of 403 members for 2010. There were 357 members
this time last year. There have been 46 more renewals this
year than last year. A motion was made and carried to file
for future audit.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Claybird –Turned in money. There were 243 skeet and
79 trap rounds shot last month. 19 boxes of ammo were
sold. The skeet machines have been repaired and running well.
Pistol – All is going well. Money was turned
in from the April 25th 2700 match. There were 9 shooters.
Rifle – The new target material was purchased, at a
cost of $18.50. There is a lot of activity on the range.
OLD BUSINESS:
- The backhoe is working very well since the starter was
fixed.
- Barry spoke with John regarding the land sale status
and found that John wants more time than the 90 days allowed
in the time of performance letter. He was advised to come
back with a written request for an additional 90 days.
It is recommended that after the first 90 days allowed,
the board should put the land on the market for sale.
- The timer for the pistol competitions will be purchases.
- The B.T. Construction estimate was received to repair
the outdoor range roof and extend the roof on the rifle
range by two bays to make a storage area.
- The Security Committee is reviewing additional information.
NEW BUSINESS:
- The following 10 people applied for membership, Kyle
K, Susan C, Lori K, Paul D, David R, Aaron P, Chris F,
John R, Adam M and Bob C. A motion was made and carried
to accept the new members as read.
- The rifle range roof repairs need to be done.
- There will be Trap competitions between Angle Tree and
Cumberland Beagle this summer using the Lewis class awards
system.
- A motion was made and carried that $100.00 be spent by
the Rifle Committee to repair damage to the target frames.
- The Outdoor pistol range needs another bell on the other
end of the range.
- Ted O classes will be held May 25 th, 27 th & May
30th or June 6th.
- The 2700 match report for April 25, 2010 was turned in.
- The revised BOD 2010 Term and Phone list was made available.
The meeting was adjourned on motion at 8:38 P.M
